Twin 160's - since you can never have too many projects

I’ve seen a couple of the LED socket adaptations - is that the only real option?
Nope. I think the CB160 is 12V. Axillary lights like these or something similar is a good option.
Wire the lights separately from the harness. I'm sure they draw extra power, but IMO, our old bikes are not ridden excessively after dark,

Anyone with one of the 160 builds need anything? I don’t mind tearing down what’s left of the bottom end to see what’s useful.
Not sure how long you're willing to hold onto stuff? I always seem to need something, but it could be years before I get to my "parts bike" project- Like you, I'm still on the fence as to whether it's worth it to try to get it running...

I’m pulling out what stuff is usable

Step bar (needs some repairs and have the crappy side stand addition removed)

Cables ( interiors are good and I’ve got grey shrink wrap to clean them up)

Rt side starter button/throttle

Cam, followers and valve train

Points plate/advancer

F/R brake plates

F/R fenders (chrome so not original,
Maybe a dealer add?) both are straight though.

Once I can get the mangled screws for the side covers removed I’ll see if there’s any hope for the bottom end components.

Knowing me I’ll put all that stuff in a tub, tell myself I’ll list it on eBay this week and still have the tub in my loft 3 years from now.
