That CB450T Rider
Member
Hey guys! I’ve been loving my bike, I ride every day and i’ve already put over 3k miles on it in just a couple months. About a week ago I was riding on the highway, and I completely lost power. The bike still runs, throttle works fine, but I can’t get any power to the wheels.
I had to walk it home about 3 1/2 hours lol. I have no clue what the issue is, im sure it’s something drivetrain related, at first I though clutch but I drained the oil and took the cover off, but the clutch looks completely fine. My next step is to check my sprockets, it almost feels like the clutch is stuck engaged. I can shift without pulling it in and it sounds the same as normal. I can also roll it in gear. I didn’t hear any pop or crack when it happened, but I was also on the highway with a helmet and music so that likely contributes.
That’s all the information I know, I just need some help, I love my bike and it sucks not to be able to ride it. I also feel like the clutch pin (the part that moves the lifter) looks different although i’m not sure why. I attached a picture. (Yes i know my clutch cable is off haha)
