Any thoughts on the noise going on, it’s near the top end. I’ve already checked for the recall and i’m good since I have the dots, adjusted valves and cam chain tensions. Any thoughts?

Weird engine knocking?
If you held still next to the engine and turned the starter more than 2 or 3 revolutions at a time, it would be easier to identify. You might have the recall punch marks, but that doesn't mean those parts couldn't be worn by now since you don't know how long since it was done.

You might also remove the spark plugs, to relieve the compression, while turning the engine over.
