Tank tap

Hi there,

My CL wasn't running very well, so I let it sit for a while. But I had to take it out at the last minute for an amazing 700-mile trip through the south of France. It has never run better ^ ^

I finally managed to reach 60 mph at about 4,800 rpm

Back home, I just discovered, with the two hoses off the tank tab, that only the left side tube of the tab was letting some gas out. Nothing was coming for the right carb.

Is this normal when the bike is parked and not running or should I open and clean the tank tab?

Did you try putting your finger over the one with fuel flowing to see if the other one started flowing? Because that's how they work, it's completely normal as long as fuel comes from the other when the one flowing is covered.
