Gentlemen, good evening! I would like to know if it's possible and if anyone has already installed a CDI, coil...a more modern ignition system, powered by the battery, on their CB 450? If anyone has done this, what materials did they use? What adaptations were needed? Thank you in advance for your help and attention!!!

Moved to SOHC Twins Electrical section.

Doesn't your bike already have CDI?
Yes, it has a CDI, but it's an older model, powered by the pulse coil located next to the stator! I'm asking this because I'd like to upgrade the ignition system and also to make it easier to buy parts for more modern ones!

I certainly understand the idea, but it might be difficult to find one that fits with your rotor and inside your alternator area. Hopefully others here will have some ideas.

Rae San has a hall-type ignition kit with programmable advance. It would require redoing the ignition system to include coils and adding a relay for the kill switch.

He may have a timing plate for the 450 already developed, I know he’s got a ton of the 4-cylinder SOHC ans DOHC as well as the CX/GL series.

He’s based down under but does respond to online inquiries. I’ve got his systems in two of my bikes and they’ve been flawless, but did take some time and troubleshooting to get the advance curve right and wiring.

Thank you for your help, noble friend! Where can I find the Rae San ?

What, another Brazilian? I hadn't even noticed!

Around here, people have fit an assortment of CDIs to these bikes, mostly chinese stuff or CG125's.
Of course, I wouldn't recommend any of them. They do not have the correct ignition advance curve, and they aren't made/set up for the CBs external ignition coil.
In case it's needed, I believe we can still buy very good quality re-coiled stators on MercadoLivre (although they do cost a bit) and we also still have new Honda CDIs selling over there (I got mine for R$500) - @Marakaate has reverse engineered it and sells handmade new ones, he also has open sourced everything on github.

Since we're here, I'd strongly advise against that "brazilian fuel injection" system you see sometimes on the brazilian socials/old bike groups.
They're ******* terrible, they say it's "100% brazilian" however it uses an GM fuel pump, a VW relay [...]. And it's all around just a mess, not to mention the 3d printed parts that are printed with plastics that DO NOT SUPPORT CONTACT WITH GASOLINE (on the freaking air filter/carb bodies OF ALL PLACES).

The BEST and correct way to do this would be to install an Fueltech, eliminating the original bike's management. Thing is... CBs are worth 10k to 25k over here. Buying the Fueltech module and harness + instalation would probably cost you over 5k to be done correctly. Not to mention all the adaptations. That being said, you would have full, absolute control of everything with a few adapted sensors, and could even properly fuel inject it with no problems (think CB250F Twister injection bodies, etcetera).
