Any company make a new OEM exhaust or should I just bite the bullet and spend $415 on a stainless new one (4-1 Delvic)?

Moved to Parts Wanted section since we don't have an exhaust section for any Honda 4 cylinder. :)

My 900F came to me with a Delkevic 4-1, it's okay but I'd prefer a different can on it. It has a raspy sound I don't really care for, one day I'll find something that fits it. Overall the pipe isn't bad.

No such thing as OEM anymore for the CB900C or the CB1000C as they both will fit each bike. They are usually in bad shape by this time, as they rotted underneath at the plugged drain holes in each muffler at the header pipe connection. MAC used to make a dual slip muffler set that had a Y pipe up front of the muffler and you normally cut off the headers at the muffler beginning of your old OEM headers to slip on the MAC mufflers.

They also sold the header and muffler pipes as a set too, yet this was years ago, so they may be gone from the market including just the slip on MAC mufflers. I had a few CB900's over the years past with that set up and it was throaty, without being raspy or really loud.

The MAC complete system was poor quality chrome and with the headers being single wall pipes they turned blue as soon as you fired the bike up. System was relatively cheap back in the day though.

See your other post about your bike I linked a forum that specializes in your bike and some other tech info that needs checking on your valves

Thanks. As soon as I get it up and running I'll take it for a short spin and then check the valve clearance.
