In the process of renewing/replacing bits and pieces on my 1982 CM450e, the electrical and ignition setup was cleaned up. This unit was beautiful upon arrival, and looks even better on the side of my bike. Granted, it looks like nothing changed, but in reality, MUCH has changed. I took the opportunity to replace the spark plugs, coil with wires, and of course the CDI. The motor now has a noticeable increase in power, increased smoothness across the rpm range, and just general confidence in knowing that this is one less piece to cause problems on a 40-year old bike.
The CDI itself was fully tested, and professionally made in such a way that it could easily pass for OEM. Plugs, wires, etc. were all perfect.
