CL175 - Do I have the wrong carbs or manifolds?!

Greetings! Been a bit but we’re getting started on this. I have a CL175 dated 11/71 - and I found some carb manifolds on eBay for a 1971, so I purchased them. However - they don‘t line up with my carburetors! They’ll bolt to the mounts on the engine - but it doesn’t appear the line up with the (aftermarket) carbs! So - do I have the wrong carbs or manifolds?!

That doesn't appear to be the correct set of carbs. those look like aftermarket.

The part number stamped on the intake I believe tracks to a 22mm PWK with 48mm flange spacing. It doesn't help that the CB/CL 175's had 6 different carb models over the years.

And just an FYI, the 2nd picture has the intake flipped backwards, the O-Ring groove goes towards the engine.

Manifolds are correct, carbs are wrong. The upright 175 (and 200 ! ) engines carbs might well have different part numbers, but the carb bodies are all physically the same size.

The 653a stamped on the inlet manifold is by Honda, they all have this type of number on them, for example 305b.

Weren't the CL's 22mm bore with slightly different jetting from the 20mm on the CB?

I think that the sloper CLs had 22mm carbs, but the upright engines all had 20mm carbs, CB.CL,SL. Same on the CB200, despite some posts which claim that the CB200 had 18mm carbs. Different jetting in all the variants, for example main jets range from #90 to #98. #88 in the CB200, from memory.
