I wanted to share a cool find. Chrome paint. Lacquer, two-part. Chrome "foil paint" and "clear protection". I used the brush as supplied in the bottle on the parts shown. This paint can be air brushed as well.
This product is the closest paint to chrome finish I have ever used. Great "chrome make-up". Found on Amazon less than $20.00

That is pretty cool. Do the instructions say anything about wet sanding the foil paint?
No. The chrome like shine is fragile until you overcoat it with the supplied lacquer overcoat after 72 hr. cure time.
I would imagine air brush artwork with a lacquer candy color overcoat and clearcoat would make an unusual result.

Do you have a link for the product you used? That would be really handy stuff to hide some of the chrome imperfections on the CB that I don’t feel like spending $1K to correct.
