Capellini Oil flow conveyor camshaft, intake and exhaust

When I was having top end oiling problems (which later turned out to be my own mistake while assembling the oil filter valve), I looked at this product. Cappellini's parts are usually very expensive, and since Terry Naughtin was road racing these engines very successfully and had worked with Cappellini many times, I did what Terry did - hand-made something similar for the price of an additional valve cover baffle plate. Mine is more crude than Terry's effort, but it's been in use in my 450 engine since 2018. I can't say if, or how much, it helps the exhaust camshaft with oiling, but at that point I was ready to try anything to help my cams and followers last.

Good to know. How thick is the aluminium foil?
And just for the exhaust side? Nothing on the inlet side?

It's not made of aluminum, it's a steel baffle plate from the intake valve cover on a 450 engine. One of these, shown in another thread here:

I tried to carefully cut the slots in the metal, then bent the curves into the "tabs" the best I could to return a little bit of the oil spinning forward off the exhaust cam lobes.
