Hi,
I've purchased 3 (VBd, VBa, VBa) carbs for my 1980 CM400T (Canada), got the first two working fine until carb 1's cast throttle hook snapped and carb 2's float needle holder snapped. 1st one I was driving when it happened and I just can't figure out a way to safely reconnect it, and 2nd was totally my fault forcing in a stubborn float bowl pin. I found a 3rd one on ebay and after waiting 2 weeks was told it was restricted item and would be held in customs from UK --> Canada.
I'm hoping there's someone out there with parts they could sell me so I can get back to restoring my oldie. i'm close to buying Mikuni vm30's but I would like to stay stock if it's possible. I've also got parts from 2 other carbs I'd be willing to toss back if they could make any use for them.
Also looking for a stock exhaust header pipe, preferably 2 if you have from a modification to a 2-1 setup. The chrome on mine have rusted out and it's beyond renewing.
