For sale for $1800, in Logan WV, my 1981 Honda cm400e with an 82 cm450e engine/trans. The swap was done more than 10 years ago at around 12k miles. The original bike and donor engine had within 100 miles of each other.
The bike currently sits with just over 24k miles on it. Front tire was put on last year with new ebc brake shoes. Rear was put on in 2023. Bars swap with emgo Daytona touring and 1” risers. Seat is a texavina L2236 cafe racer. I have the original one too. Igniter was replaced with ac delco d555 and solid core Taylor spark plug wires. Fuse box updated to blade fuses from metric glass tubes. The headlight glass is swapped with an 06 cb250 so it uses a h4 bulb instead of sealed beam, they use the same bucket. Rear shock swapped to a cb750 replica for a little more ride height. Also have a rear rack and top box for it(not pictured).
The bike starts and runs great, I still ride it all around. Has a few scratch’s here and there and a patched right muffler than has been on it since I acquired it back in 2009.
Recently bought a new bike and am running out of storage for them.
