My CB175 project

I work for a very respectful man who had this special bike I’m disabled (use to drive big trucks) anyways I couldn’t afford to buy it with 2,000 miles on odo but I have a desire to restore vantage bikes and it’s had set for at least 10ys
So he gave me the bike with title and all the original owners manuals and title but I help him still to this day doing odds and ends.

Remember this bike had set for at least ten yrs
So it was a pain to get it to run
The original carbs as much as I know about carbs just won’t do the job
But I’ll get more into what I did to make this bike run 85mph and it doesn’t break a sweat
First I changed to electronic ignition-points can’t keep up with this high rpm motor I don’t think
New carbs up the main jet size killing a lot of spark plugs for turning purposes Japan carbs just can’t do the job
I port and polished the intake and exhaust on the head for smooth flow then I put the cl exhaust on. If u look closer u can see the carb upgrade

I’ve had the cb175 accel ignition coil for a lil while now helps this bike out so much
Throttle response is amazing is crazy fast but I’ve also got a dyna electric coil and did away with points
