Waiting on a day to come that is not high humidity so I can paint my replacement tank got me itching to work.
I had completely forgot I had never put my bracket and right passenger peg on the ‘ol cl350 that, some of the last remaining parts along with some godawful aftermarket stuff from my original purchase.
If you know, you know.
PO for whatever reason did not install this bracket.
Yep. Swing arm pivot bolt. Meant to go threw already installed pillion arm bracket, threw the swing arm.
Will I ever have a pillion. Not too likely. But know this should be.
To my dilemma. Talk me out of it. I wonder if I actually need to remove rear tire/drive chain/fender/ect prior to pulling the swing arm bolt. Or… on center stand, then bracing under swing arm pivot points on either from underneath, attempt to remove the bolt to install the right bracket.
Anyone attempted this?!? Should I do the full teardown?!? I not afraid of work, but also am of the work smarter not harder.
