Worn cam on a 1972 CL175 question.

My honda has 3300 miles on it, but ran kinda rough, so I took it apart and did some measurements. I found the intake cam lobe is slightly under spec, my question is this, can this cause a poor running engine? Its not terrible out of spec but it is. .....THX!
