Thought it would be a good idea to have a single thread where members could post a pic or two of their bikes, along with a bit of info as to year, model, etc. I’ll get it started with my 1969 CL350. It’s currently wearing CB pipes, but this is a nice pic from a couple years ago with the “correct” exhaust.

^^^Beauty... you know, when that version came out I liked the older ones so much that the color scheme on this bike didn't appeal to me at all. How things change when a few decades go by. (y)

This has been my pandemic project. 1969 K2 CB450 sporting a K1 tank. Close to done but still working the bugs out.

That bike is a keeper. Now to find some stock exhaust for it and that would complete the perfect picture.

This is my 1973 Sl350 k2, was about a 3 year project. I got lucky and found a really nice used luggage rack on ebay which definitely comes in handy at times.

(Hey Tom, How do you do the bigger photos like you did, a thread like this would be nice to have the pics full size)

[AD edit: our software upgrade now allows easier full-sized pics, so I updated yours]

Can't say I've ever seen a CB500K0 tank on a 350 before, much less an SL350 - definitely different.

The bike looks great. As for the pictures, I decided to try Imgur after seeing Richard Pitman's results. It works great and they make it simple. Set up an account with them, totally free, and upload your pictures there, then click on one of them you want to display here. On the right side of the picture there are buttons to click to copy the link for the various methods websites use to display pictures. VHT uses the one for message boards and forums (BB code) so click that button and it copies the link for you, then paste it here in the position you want it. Pulls the pictures to here full sized, only drawback is you can't click on them here to enlarge like when we want to look at parts pictures up close.

My 1975 CB400F. Yet another work in progress. This is as found. A very early matching numbers example

Just realized this is vintagehondaTWINS and it's not a twin, but I'll leave it up anyway if it's OK.

A Honda 150 I had once upon a time. Not certain of the year and it wasn't my cup of tea so I let it go. Dig those fishtails.

It is absolutely okay to post it. I love the 400F, I had one when I was between bigger bikes in the late '70s and it was a blast. The matching numbers part is just one good reason to hold onto it. I'm envious of the CB450K1 you have, and the CL77 is pretty nice too for "as found". Nice herd, brother (y)

This is the only picture I have of my CB400F. It was taken by my Dad at the motel in the morning during Bike Week when he rode the Gold Wing over there with me and we met my ex-brother in law who rode his KZ900 down from Pensacola. On our way home, we stopped on the side of the interstate for a break and had a cold beer each that we rolled up in the sleeping bag before we left.

Beautiful bikes here on this forum, some pristine and others with that good patina. Here’s mine

The second tank is from eBay. Haven’t been able to work on the bike due to pandemic and it currently residing in my siblings’ garage. I’m undecided whether to keep the second tanks paint job or send it off for the stock candy blue sapphire. I’d love the stock look but for ~$1000 turn-key it’s tough to justify. What do y’all think?

^^^If it were mine, I'd keep both tanks and leave the one on the bike that's there already. That style has always been a favorite of mine, ever since I was in high school riding a 175 and a classmate had a new CL350K0 that I salivated over every day.

Can't get pic to show up properly and also can't seem to delete this post either which is why this is even here.

I was able to do it on my Mac but they came out upside down(can’t figure out how to fix that). Tried on my phone and couldn’t figure that out. Will have to take a couple new pics right side up and post those.

If you post them from the Mac and they're upside down, that means the Mac is auto-correcting the picture for you (Windows 10 does the same thing). You could simply use any version of photo program you have on the Mac and rotate the pic 180° and then re-post the pic and it should be fine
