CB450 Headlight question

I have the 7" headlight on my CB450 and was thinking of getting this halogen assembly. My question is does this 35/35W bulb generate a lot of heat, should I be worried about melting any wires in the headlight bucket?

I can't see any problems with you running that 35/35 halogen bulb in a 7" headlight. I ran a 60/55 halogen bulb in my Gold Wings and CB750s with the 7" case and never had any issues with heat.

The wiring should handle it easily, like Tom I'm running a 55/60w bulb with original wiring.

I meant to get back to this yesterday - but I wasn't sure if you meant the entire assembly, or just the H4 bulb. Either way you saved money, which isn't difficult outside of CMC's orbit.

I had initially thought the PO had upgraded the “lense”from the sealed unit, so I ordered the LED bulb from Sparck moto. Then I took it apart to discover it was not ungraded! My fault lol. So I really just needed the new lense which will accept the newer style led bulb.
