My stock, original, complete 1973 CB350G purchase this summer included a seat that showed its age. Previous owner had the standard kit already on hand for the DIY effort - which seems kind of subpar for where I am trying to go with this bike. I've pulled the original pan and sent it off to New Church Moto [link] as she's agreed to do her magic with the seat, creating some kind of masterpiece. While I wait... I ordered up a seat from Texavina, as one of the few places that appear to offer close to or actual plug and play solutions for actual models.
And it is. I transferred over mounting hardware as I prepared the old seat for shipping, and then attached the Texavina seat straight onto the bike with zero issues. Same size, same everything.
Now... to find a new tank. Mine didn't fare well in cleaning the internal rust, and I'd just as soon replace it now than replace it later. raretromoto has sent me some specs for Trooper with measurements, which I need to go put against the bike. And all of the other little things... signals... And in a couple of years, the whole frame.
