    Resistor spark plug caps

A few years back, when I replaced my ignition coils, I bought OEM caps from my local Honda dealer - yes they were still available (not very cheap either) - I am somewhat of a purist. So, they are original resistor caps and resistance measured about 5 ohms. I'm running the original non-resistor plugs.

Is there any reason that I should use the non-resistor NGK caps with my current non-resistor plugs?

(I understand the reasoning behind "resistor" caps or plugs, to eliminate radio interference).

Are my current OEM caps hindering the spark that much?

If the bike is running well with no misfires or starting difficulties then you're fine. When you eventually run out of B8ES plugs and have to go to BR8ES or the iridium BR8EIX versions, you'll want to go to non-resistor caps so you're not doubling the resistance. I prefer the look of the NGK caps myself.
(move along, nothing to see here)

Perfect! And that's what I'll end up doing - only have 4 of those new plugs left.
Thanks for the prompt reply - that's how you guys roll here.

Yeah it is. Ain't that the way it's supposed to be?
