    Need a 1966 CL160 front peg bar

I am rebuilding a CL160 and the left peg is sheared off at the lower bracket and missing. I would like to find a CL160 peg bar complete but they seem to be hard to find. Of course everything for a CL160 seems to be hard to find compared to my last project - a 1972 CL350.

    Thanks in advance, David Voss

Yes, hard to find. You might obtain a donor CT90 footpeg or something plentiful and cheaper and weld what you need to your correct footpeg.

There is a complete set of the bar and footpegs at CMSNL in the Netherlands for about $169 US plus shipping.

The 50600223000B Bar Step can be ordered. Fits Honda. 50600-223-000B

Best I can do on the IPad at least you have the part number above as noted.

Some real issues in editing on this site and the posts that seem to be pretty consistent recently. Adding links or changing text just won’t go and deletions are necessary.

I'd love to see some pics of this project. Any chance you'd start a project log? I've got my CB160 running now, but there is still a few things to add, like the new rectifier regulator and the extra set of wheels with alloy rims.

I just remembered and posted on a FB group to a guy parting one in PA. I'll let you know if he responds. He was asking for offers so you could let me know how much is Ok and or I could try to hook you two up directly.

Oh well footpegs on that CL160 are gone. You could join the two 160 FB groups (private to look and post) and put out a quest.

Thanks ballbearian. That might be the route I have to take - welding on a donor peg - just hoping to find one first. I am a long way from needing it right now.

Thanks Flyin900. It's good to have the part number.

I haven't actually done anything on the bike yet except to try to source parts. However, maybe now is the time to start a project log.

Thanks. I am a member of 2 Facebook CL/CB160 groups - just thought I would start here. VHT is my favorite group and source of information!
