Honda 3.5mm replacement electrical connectors and tool

I have been doing my own replacement wiring and repair on existing harness damage for about 2 years now and I was able to source the correct crimper from Amazon on a deal two years ago. That deal doesn't appear to still exist, yet crimpers and their dies are available from a variety of vendors.

I used Vintage Connections http://www.vintageconnections.com/Products/Wire to source all the 3.5mm male and female single and dual connectors that are common on many wiring harnesses from Honda from the early 60's on through the 80's. Vintage also sells the vinyl tubing in both black and silver that replicate the original coverings on many main and sub harnesses. They also have the white points wire heat proof coverings in two sizes and a variety of silver and black electrical tapes to wrap your harness back to factory fresh too.

So here are the pictures of the crimper from Performance Tool #186 that I purchased and the different materials from Vintage Connections.

I didn't see that on the site as I already had the tool from Amazon and paid a little more, yet it came with 5 die sets and a blow molded case. His set includes the main die set and for $40.00 that is a bargain. I think I paid around $50.00 Canadian, yet now the same set on Amazon is over $100.00.

So I don't know if their original listing 2 years ago was a price mistake, or if "supply chain issues" are responsible for the big price jump.
