I was invited on a small bore ride around downtown Huntsville (AL) this past Saturday. Great weather, lots of good folks, and a mixture of vintage and modern machines. I think my zHonda was the only twin, but it wasn’t the largest bike. We rode about an hour and ended up on the courthouse square for a late lunch.

Looks like it was fun. Did you ride one of the smaller bikes, or just rode with them?

I just rode with them. I think I was invited mainly because they like me and I have pretty good photography skills…lol

Would have been cool to ride that CT70. Would have taken me back to my Mom's first bike in 1969
I think the owner said it’s a ‘73. Someone bought it back then and stored it all these years. It’s in brand new original condition, not a restoration.

Better forks and turn signals too. My 1st (avatar) and 3rd bikes (still have) were/are CT70's. Great errand runners. Flat out it'll do 45mph.

A '93.

My Mom never saw the other side of 30 mph on hers, it was always on our local rural road or a hard packed trail while camping. Early in her learning to ride process, we were camping one weekend (ironically, only about 5 miles from where I live now) and she was riding her CT70 near the main camping area when she got nearer to a tree than she felt comfortable with while approaching. Thinking in an entirely different context (like being in a rowboat), she reached out with her left leg to "push" herself away from the tree as she went by. Of course, she toppled over just like Arte Johnson and his tricycle on Laugh-In

I think these are all very nice bikes :) as I love small cc bikes. Did the person riding the TLR200 Reflex do any 'Trials' riding with it or was it used mainly as a commuter bike? nice to see the rear passenger seat on it.

His grandkids have small dirt bikes and I think he rides it to accompany them on the trails on his property. His everyday rides are a Harley Road King and a Yamaha 650 bobber. That’s the bobber on the right, and my mildly cafe’d Ironhead Sportster next to it.

I've never ridden a Harley. Scared to, I might like it. You guys probably got a lot of nice cruisin roads in AL. These squirrelly roads around here are great for squirrelly bikes.

We have plenty of squirrely roads here in north Alabama…lol
