Would you look at this, another jetting question on this forum

Except I'm not asking what jets I need for putting $10 pod filters on my CV carbs, I'm trying to figure out stock jets and float height for 747A carbs on a 74 CL360. I found a forum post that listed stock jets for CL360s, but it specifically mentioned 747B carbs, and I have 747A.

Anyone know the difference between these two sets of carbs?

Thanks

My tiny Genuine Honda Spec book (1974) says for CB/CL360:

Float Level - 18.5mm
Std. main Jet - #68 Primary #100 Secondary
Std. Slow Jet - #35
These are the same for CB/CL.

Where they differ is Idle mixture initial setting.
1 1/8 Turns from closed position (745A)
1 5/8 Turns from closed position (745B)
1 3/4 Turns from closed position (747A)

Idle Speed 1200 rpm.

If that's any help at all.

That's a good little ready reference you have, it actually has the correct numbers which even genuine manual gets wrong a few times (and then gets copied by Clymer, et.al.)
The only thing that does need adjusting for 'modern fuel' (E10) is float level now needs to be 19.5 to 21mm
