cb77 center stand spring dimension

I cannot get the center stand spring installed on my cb77. it is a new spring with correct part number. It is an aftermarket spring and I am wondering if it is the incorrect one. can someone confirm the correct dimension before installation? I have installed them before on other 60's twins, but this one has me beat.
Any help you could provided would be greatly appreciated.
