CB350 cam chain tensioner small roller CL350 SL350

Sorry for the delay on this

Finally forced to look at these and overall construction and materials seem to match to OEM. There are slight differences but overall dimensions and features match.

Uncertain the quality of the bearing for the rubber roller, and the side to side play of the wheel and rivet was more than oem. Will install and see how it goes.

Threw this in an getting sound loud clicking noise (like loose valves), seemingly from the kickshaft area, but beginning to think it's the roller.

I assembled and ran this engine in one go (have maybe 40 miles on the engine) and didn't give the locktite time to set, so going to pop off the top to check on the cam bolts and also remove the tensioner to make sure I routed the chain correctly. After that will run this til it stops

The rubber seemed to be good quality. The clacking noise isn't as bad at higher rpm.

Haven't had the time to go back into the engine, but did pop the valve cover off while in frame to check the cam sprocket bolts were in and see if there was any wear on the cam chain rivets and both seemed good.

Have probably between 800-1500 miles since this build. The clacking noise turned out to be a loose valve seat.

Would recommend this tensioner as a replacement
