I just learned about Starrett's "promotions" on their website. They sell lots of very expensive measuring tools, way far out of my league and most are no use to me at all. However, if you needed a micrometer, for example, they seem to have close out sale prices on last generation models. All sorts of stuff. The website is slow and not obvious.
