I have a number of spares that I am trying to get back into circulation. Have been a member of the *other* forum for years, an enthusiast of this model for decades, and parted out many bikes. I don't think I'll be building any more of them, so better to share some with others. Some parts are nice, some rare, some useful and some cheap. Here's some of it:

Black Bomber:

top fork bridge
full front end (forks, stem, bridge, tins)
front and rear 18" wheels
carbs
exhaust downtubes
ignition coil bracket, for mounting dyna coils
OEM grey spark plug caps (for restoration nerds only)
complete engines (not parting out at this time)

K1 1968-9

top fork bridge
incomplete front end (missing one lower, ears)

K3 and up

low mileage crankshafts
transmission sets
seat, side hinge, near perfect
carb set, rebuilt
velocity stacks
rear fenders, lights
two fork top bridges, no cracks
gauge set with bracket
exhaust downtubes
wheels, also hubs only (drum front and rear)
side covers
complete engines

Misc-

dyna 5ohm coils, new
dyna electronic igniton module-fits early Goldwing, but these were commonly adapted for twins before the current crop of makes were available
clutch cable lifter arms
brake cyl with rebuild kit
1973 gas tank, some dents but no rust
1968 CL450 scrambler tank, lots of surface rust
CB500t transmission set
Cb500t complete engines
full gasket set
rear brake lever pivot tubes
CB360 swingarm
CB77 Superhawk headlight bucket, gauges, idiot lights
CB77 toolkit, complete

Happy Thanksgiving y'all!

I consider them cores, since I never heard them run. They turn over, which hey that's great, but I have no way to know the mileage or assess wear without tearing them down. I'm thinking $100 for one. I did disassemble one 500T motor, so I have a good crank, transmission set, etc available if there is any individual pieces you need.

Any shift drum roller / pizza cutter in decent shape? $100 for a cb500t core is a decent price also. I would be interested in that as well. Just gotta find some time to clean out my garage for some space.

Wow, 100$ is indeed a decent price for a DOHC core/engine. I would take that in a second. I'm also in search of a DOHC engine project and the last potential seller I've contacted wanted 1.200 Euro (!) for a non-running 450 engine here in Germany.

$1200 for a non-runner does seem crazy, but I have heard that in general prices are higher in Europe and Australia due to the relative scarcity/high desirability. I'll bet that Franco Cappelini single handedly drove up the price on DOHC parts over there :)

Here in the states, Honda shipped a lot more units, so there are just more lying around. I pop into rural salvage yards and still find them, though usually they are missing the parts we all look for.

I'll add here that I also have:

one very good stator cover
clutch pivot levers, from useable to nice
nice clean valves, torsion arms
kickstart spindle, perfect splines
gear shift shaft, perfect splines
NOS K1-up swingarm pivot tube, NOS bolt (sold as a set)
CB450 rear drum hub only, perfect rubber sprocket bolt cushions
K0 or K1 front drum hub only
Nice bare head, no fin damage
cylinder barrels, no fin damage, bore needs honed or possibly oversized
exhaust downtubes, nice chrome
exhaust flanges, nice chrome

I'm sure there is more, still digging through old crates.

Bump on this thread; I still have a bunch of very useful stuff I'd like to move on to needy hands. I'll add the following that I discovered:

Pair of NOS Snuff-or-not exhaust baffles, still on the card new, size S-25
one NOS fork seal 1968-72 CB450 or CL450, pt# 91255-300-013
Black Bomber speedo drives
Black bomber gauge lower retainer ring

All CB450 custom finned stator cover NOS
CB450 K3-up fork bridge, undamaged (two of these, one ugly-cheap, the other nice-not as cheap, heh)
