Here at my local Dollar Tree store they have a cleaner/degreaser called Totally Awesome. It is $1/qt, and it is a great all purpose shop cleaner. I always end up with oil on my floor when I do an oil change, this time a pretty big mess of it. I just move the bike, spray the slick down with this stuff, and it wipes up clean. I use it to wipe down my side covers, forks, wheels, etc, as well as my tools when I am done with them. I pour some into a bucket of water to wash my bike. I grab a couple bottles whenever I am there, because items there have a history of disappearing after a time. This happened with a product they used to carry called Mean Green, which looked, smelled, and worked like Simple Green. I miss that stuff, but grab some Totally Awesome while you can if you have access to it.
