I had the same challenge. Scanned and measured my Vin plate and send it to https://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/classicmotorcycledecals2
Guess you don`t have to do the same but just order it as they later on had it for sale on a regular basis for the 500t. good luck
Yeah, the powder coated blasted mine off too. It must be a chronic problem.

Edited to add: Definitely NOT in Texas. No idea where I came up with that idea!

I can vouch for khneisser, I used them when I needed a replacement VIN plate after changing the frame on my K4 to K6 conversion. Probably against the rules, but I have the original frame in the back of the garage, and this bike will not be sold to an unsuspecting buyer.
Here's the replica VIN plate, glued and riveted into place.
