That's a very high bar to reach. Hope to be able to follow your progress.

It's a beauty for sure. Those pics must have been taken during the process, as it has no front brake cable and no siren cable in some of the pics.

I have held back posting my pictures because I don’t want to encroach on the the good work being done by Galaxies or high jack his space.

Ray, don't worry about my bike as we both know I started the restoration process 10 years ago and I really thought that members could get a view of a restored CB450P so I hope you didn't mind if I posted a few of yours in the meantime.
:) Gary

Thanks Gary.
I take it as a compliment you want to show my pictures and I have no problem with that. Feel free to use what you can find.
I have recently given the CP450 a good clean and polish and greased up nuts and bolts ready for winter.
I will try and post a recent photo of it.
I am also hoping to post pictures of the actual police parts one by one with a description to help other restorers to know what to look for.
As you will be aware of by now it’s the police parts that makes the bike what it should be but most parts were discarded when the bikes were decommissioned. Without them it’s just a white bike.
Keep up the good work.
