give it a visit if you're in the area. $10 entry donation. We did have a rider go down on this trip on his classic Norton early on, no injuries but the bike will need work. Also had a classic CBR start leaking oil halfway so the owner left it and got a ride back.

Very cool assemblage of vintage bikes, including that Britten and the RC181. Surprising for a smaller museum to have one of only 10 Brittens in the world AFAIK, much less one of Honda's 4 cylinder road racers from the '60s. Thanks for sharing the pics and ride report.

Thanks for the pics. I was in Solvang this past August and wanted to visit but the museum but it was closed. All I could do was look through the window.
 
yeah.....lotsa money in that area. Fun fact, current mayor of Solvang was best man at my wedding. Sad fact, of the mad bunch we were, that raced and hung out back then, he and I are the only two still alive, there were 7 of us.
