Need a carb for CB125S

Waking up this CB 125S and the carb slide is totally stuck and the guts in the float bowl are covered with a nasty green black crud. I noticed on eBay there are lots of new carbs for sale for about $21.00. Are these worthless Chinese knockoffs that I am used to seeing in Weber carb world or are these legit? The original carb is not worth trying to restore.
 
Some here have used these Wincycles carbs on smaller twins like the CB175 and have had success.

new Chinese carbs don't fit

So I ordered a pair of Chinese carbs for my 1972 CL175K6. Only they don't fit as the connection to the inlet manifolds is 10mm smaller than the original so the screw holes don't remotely line up. ( see photo) . Shame because they seem pretty nice and I am having all the usual struggles to get...

Thanks for the quick response. For that price and with your input, I may take a swing at one. Technically my daughter will have to pay for it anyway.

Well, I'm not much of a carb guy, but I can find information pretty well when needed. :)
 
Hi,which year CB125S that needs a carb. do you own ?
I always get good,used OEM Honda because they work the best,imo.
