I'm fitting new fork seals to my K2 450. I bought a set some years ago 35x48x11, which is the size recommended at time. Found them impossible to fit the outside diameter, 48mm was to big. Checked the net and some kits say 35x46x11 and some 48 all are being sold as the correct kits for the K2.
I'm a bit confused has anyone else encountered this problem?

You mentioned 450K2, not sure if you mean CB or CL since it isn't in your signature. Looking at CMSNL, there are 2 USA CB450K2 listings (doesn't show one for Australia) - and one has 2 listings for the front forks. They are described as "Front Cushion" and "Front Cushion (used in USA)", yet both say US model when you choose them. And they both show 35x46x11, only the last 3 digits of the part number are different which means both will fit.

Thanks for your reply it is appreciated!
I have also done a bit more research, it seems that the k1 and K2 had the 35x46x11 seals and with the k3 they changed to 48mm and the CL and CB used the same seals.
Though I found 35x48x11 seals advertised as suitable for the K2? A mystery.
I have ordered the right seals!
Thanks again!

Dismantled, cleaned, installed new seals and filled the forks with 285cc of 15w fork oil. Took the bike for a 170 mile ride on a good verity of roads, Twisties, bumpy, dirt and good surfaces and the handling is brilliant now, tracks nicely in the corners and not overly stiff on the bumps.
Didn't realize how bad it was, should have done this a long time ago!
