Help identifying Parts

1978 CB400T II

I’m very sure I removed theses parts from the shifter shaft when I removed the left engine cover but I don’t see them in any schematic. I’m not sure where they go now.

Can anyone help me out please?

Wrong schematic. Look at the schematic for "Left Crankcase Cover/Alternator" - your spring and washers are #6 & #10

The 1978 version uses the spring and washers on the shifter rod between the seal and cover. 1 year only item.
